Pictures, descriptions and measurements are from
a new old stock 1996 and up NV4500 bellhousing.
Bottom View
There are three 1 3/8" holes in the bottom of this
cover.
Top View
There are two large vent holes and 1 small slotted
hole in the upper half of this clutch cover.
Transmission Mount Holes
The four transmission to housing holes are metric
thread.
Inside View
Center hole is approximately 5 9/16"
No Fork Stud
There is no provision for a clutch fork pivot. This
means this housing can only be used with a hydraulic
throw out bearing.
Casting Number
The casting number is located on the inside of this
example.
Inspection Plate Bolt Holes
The 4 holes that retain the inspection plate are
un-threaded on this N.O.S. clutch cover.
Top Bolt
This bell has 6 housing to engine holes.
Depth
The face to face (Depth) of this housing is the
same as all corporate bellhousings that I've seen.
Approximately 6 3/8".
