#3729000 (1 1/2" O.L.)
GM part # 3729000 is a clutch fork pivot or
ball stud that screws into original and some
aftermarket bellhousings.
This Stud was used on many bellhousings from
1955 on up, with 13/16"-16 threads This is the
shorter stud measuring 1 1/2" overall.

NEW 3729000 Clutch Fork Pivot
The pivot (top in photo) is a wear point on used studs.
Assembly manuals say to lubricate this point before
attaching fork.

Side view
Clutch fork pivots on top. Lower threads screw
into the housing.

Bottom view
A 3/8" allen wrench is used to tighten or loosen
this ball stud.

Measurement
The overall length is 1 1/2". When seated in a
bellhousing approximately 7/8" is exposed.
