Here you can see the clutch rod/bumper bracket
is perpendicular to the main beam of the pedal.
Clutch Rod Hole
This is where the clutch pedal push rod is attached.
This hole is the first thing to show wear on any
used pedal. If it is worn it can be either welded up
then redrilled or drilled and bushed.
Pedal Stop
The pedal stop/clutch rod bracket is the main diff-
erence between 1st and second generation Nova
pedals and reflects a change in hanger brackets.
Spot Welds
The OEM pedals have the clutch rod bracket spot
welded on.
Pin
The second generation clutch pedal uses a clip
style retainer GM part # 3828428.
