New Old Stock GM Part #3988627 Gearshift Cap

This steel cap holds the gear shift handle in the top of the transmission case.

The GM truck parts books list this as fitting:

1938-72 ALL and Blazer with 4 speed

1973-78 ALL, Blazer, Jimmy with 4 speed

1979-84 CKP1, 2, 3 (M20) 4 speed

1985-86 CK (M20) 4 speed

1987-88 RV1, 2, 3 with 4 speed

This part comes without the GM box in the last picture (Came 5 to a box).
