General Motors Part # 6258268 Back Up Light Switch Bracket
This bracket fits the Super T-10 transmission
side cover and has the switch protection shield
integrated into it. This is correct for 1974-81
Corvettes.

The two big holes in the background have the
ST-10 bolt pattern. The smaller holes in the
foreground are for switch mounting.
Looking Down
This bracket is formed from one piece of metal
and incorporates the switch shield.
Backside
This view shows the "break" in the bend that adds
to the overall strength of the piece.
Length
This is a strong part with the only drawback
possibly being the length of the shield interfering
with non-factory shifter linkage.
