The 1963 model year had a radical change

in their shape, with a large off set bend and

new pad shape. The two (2) 3/8" clearance

holes are for push rod bracket attachment,

as there are different brackets for small block

and big block engines.

History:

3908155 REP 3830507 10-67

This is the 1967 Corvette brake pedal. It is

identical to part # 3830507 for 1963-66 Vettes

with the exception of the "hanger pipe" outside

diameter. This picture has a marker installed

in the "hanger pipe" to keep it upright.

63-66 vs. 67 Brake Pedal

The 1963-66 brake pedal is on the left. 1967 is on

the right. The "eyelets" both have a clearance for a

5/8" shaft and nylon bushing on the inside. It is hard

to tell in this picture, but the outside diameter is

larger on the early pedal (Left). This meant there

was a change in the brake pedal return spring

(actually 3 changes) and the return spring bushing.
